D1 Modified Clips, sold as a set for all applications involving the Hayward 1048e drain cover.
IMPORTANT: Two clips per drain cover (installed as pictured) are required. These two D1 Modified clips are sold as a set. One clip is taller than the other. This combination will be used no matter which pool cleaner you have. The D1 Modified clips are installed in the slotted holes on the circumference of the cover. One clip will not stay in place by itself. It is important that the hooks on the ends of the clips are pushed firmly into the slotted holes.
This clip is available in white and grey, we recommend choosing the color that is closest to your drain color.
In order to install the Main Drain Clip-On D1 Modified 8” clips without getting into the pool, we recommend purchasing the Modified Installation Tool as well.
