This package does not include an Installation Tool.  The D2 Clip fits existing main drain covers that look like Style C, D, and E listed under “Categories” on the left side of this page.

If the distance between the holes on your drain are from 4-3/4″ to 5-0″ apart, the D2 clip will fit

The D2 Clips may also be installed by swimming to the bottom of the pool and manually installing the clip onto the drain cover without removing the existing main drain cover.

    I was tired of seeing my pool vac sitting on my pool drain cover for hours so I figured I would try this clip. I placed my order for 4, only a few days later they arrived. It took me about 4 minutes to swim to the bottom of my pool and clip these on and watch my vacuum pass on bye
